On 24 June 2015, 8 students and 1 staff from National University of Singapore visited the MMID information center in Mandalay. This was part of STEER Myanmar (Study Trips for Engagement and Enrichment). The STEER program is designed to familiarize students with the diverse socio-cultural-political-economic environments of newly emerging markets through a mix of classroom-based learning and experiential site visits.
STEER Myanmar 2015 focuses on how Myanmar is laying her foundations for further developments. The Student’s visit to MMID’s information center taught them how the government, local business people and foreign business people need to corporate to realize the strategic potential of Mandalay. The STEER Myanmar 2015 team hopes that future groups will be able to learn more from MMID.
